Hello, currently I'm using 16 GB of DDR4 RAM at 3200 MHz. AIDA 64 showed 3200 MHz in the Summary menu, but it also lists 1600 MHz for both of my RAM sticks. I have two questions: First, how fast is your RAM actually running—3200 MHz or 1600 MHz? Second, which brand and model would you suggest buying? For the second question, I need to get 32 GB DDR4 since I plan to upgrade to AM5 and DDR5 in the next 1-2 years. Thank you very much for your assistance.
I checked the Corsair Vengeance but noticed many reviews mentioning performance problems. Some users reported slower speeds than advertised and even booting issues after installation. Should I consider G Skill or another brand? Also, AIDA 64 lists it as 3200 DDR4 but SDRAM—confirming if that detail is correct.
Early DDR5 performance was similar to first-generation DDR4 and DDR3. DDR4 is now considered outdated, so you're generally safe with your choice. The main concerns were hardware compatibility rather than the RAM itself. To be sure, verify if your graphics card comes from a Qualified Vendor List, which lists tested and verified kits.

ddr so 3200 is the advertised or effective speed, while 1600 is the actual performance. Here’s my example at DDR3 3400: so while the bios would say 3400, CPUZ says 1700. Though I can’t run this in the bios because the max I can get is 3312, which is usually branding. Just grab the cheapest 3200C16 or 3600C18 kit you find—they’re all the same brands like Hynix, Samsung, or Micron ICs with different heat spreaders and not much difference on the PCB side (unless you go past 5000).
As for the specific CPU, I think it’s either Zen2 or Zen3 based. The APU can clock much higher than 4600, and you can save a bit of money if you put in some work and source matching RAM so you don’t have to replace the RAM sticks. But you still need to identify the IC first—thankfully, you can do that with this tool.

I'm currently using a RYZEN 5 3600 and plan to move to AM5 and DDR5 in a few years. Right now I'm on 16 GB DDR4, though I'm not sure if that's enough for upcoming titles like ASSASSINS CREED SHADOWS, DOOM DARK AGES, or Gears of War. I haven't had any problems with 16 GB so far, and I'm not sure if spending 60 euros on a 32 GB DDR4 kit is worth it when I might wait until I upgrade.
For the Ryzen 3600 I'd go with 3200CL16. I'm wondering why you're displaying CL24 instead.
I upgraded from 16Gb Corsair Vengeance at 3200 to 32Gb with four 8GB modules, but saw almost no change. For reference, I'm using a 5600X on a B550. I wish I had invested in a DDR5 motherboard and graphics card. In terms of size, it seems most gaming budget goes toward the GPU, so it makes sense to spend extra on VRAM instead.
