You've got a solid setup with your current hardware. To boost stability, consider checking memory compatibility and ensuring proper power delivery. Since you're upgrading from slower Patriot to faster Vulcan Z, verify that the new RAM supports the required speeds. Also, confirm your motherboard supports CL16 and CL15 standards for optimal performance. Running at 3200MHz with 24GB should be stable if everything matches.
Unknown, yet both the operating system and task manager display performance at 3200MHz with 24GB RAM.
Indicating a crash when XMP is enabled suggests a problem, possibly instability or incompatible memory.
I just upgraded the Patriot RAM to a G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 2x8GB 2400MHz setup. It worked fine right away. I checked the BIOS to enable XMP, but it took longer than expected and reset when enabled. I turned it off and set the CPU back to 4.0GHz while keeping the RAM at 3200MHz. Everything is now functioning perfectly, and after some memory tests with no errors, everything looks good.
