Hi. In my PC gaming session I upgraded from a GTX 480 to an 1050, then an RX 580, followed by a 2060 Super and now a 6950XT. Throughout this process I've faced occasional random black screens lasting about 1 to 2 seconds. I've updated drivers, changed the DP port on my GPU, but the issue persists. My setup includes two monitors, and the black screens appear only on the main one. If anyone can assist, I'd really appreciate it.

Have you considered changing the video cables? Do you have an extra SSD available? It might be worth trying to install Windows on that and checking the results.

I don’t have an extra DP cable and can’t reproduce the problem easily. I’m just sitting there for any amount of time. It could be the cable—an old 1.1 model made of low quality. It might not explain why it started only recently, even though I haven’t had the card for the first two weeks.

Ensure you have sufficient slack and cable length. Consider routing the DP cable away from other connections. I face comparable issues with HDMI due to interference, which sometimes causes brief interruptions until the cable is moved away from other wires.

For informational purposes, do you have your GPU connected straight into the PCIe slot or via a riser cable?

Go directly into the slot.

It hasn't been resolved properly. It happens only occasionally, about once every few hours, but it's bothersome. I invested 700€ on the card, yet it doesn't function correctly unless it's the cable, which seems confusing because it worked before on my old GPU.
