You're considering Corsair RAM for your new PC setup. The motherboard QVL doesn't list it as supported, but since it shares the same SK Hynix chips and matches the speed and timings of your G.Skill RAM, it's likely compatible. Checking other users' experiences can help confirm this.

Welcome to the forum! Essentially, the QVL listing refers to verified memory that functions, not every product tested with every board. DRAM compatibility has improved since older Ryzen models, so it shouldn't be a problem. If you want a CL16 kit, I’d recommend one with 3200MHz (I’ve already upgraded mine to 3466MHz and fine-tuned timings). Alternatively, consider another brand if needed. Here are some options:
- Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB 2X 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CMW32GX4M2C: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/NyTPxr/...m2c3200c16
- Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB 2X 16GB DDR4 3333MHz: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/bpPKHx/...m2c3333c16
- GSKILL Trident Z Neo 32GB 2X 16GB DDR4 3600MHz F4 3600C16D-32GTZNC: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/w3FKHx/...6d-32gtznc
For the RGB version, check this link: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/zcH8TW/...6d-32gtznc
The most affordable 32GB 3600MHz CL16 kit is: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/zcH8TW/...16d-32gvkc

It seems Ryzen has become a bit more flexible lately, yet I’d still avoid taking that chance. After testing the first-gen Ryzen, I had to swap out three different RAM modules before giving up on the system altogether for Intel.

It was an issue with 1st gen, no longer, Bios updates have come a long way with improving stability. I can put any memory kit in my system now without issues. For a while I was using my Corsair Vengeance LED kit that I had bought during the skylake days, It did not work at first but after a year of updates it was fine. But yeah early adoption of Ryzen was not good for system stability, I too got tired of the issues and built an 8700k system while I waited for Ryzen stability to improve, by the time 2nd gen launched it was mostly fixed, and since I got my Asus X470 ROG Crosshair VII Hero stability has been solid as a rock. That and my Ryzen ITX system have no issues.

Sure, I'll keep it simple. I'll wait until at least the fourth generation before trusting it.

It's perfectly fine to recommend it now.
