Have trouble with the Broken Windows 11 setup? Need assistance resolving the installation issues?
I recently lost my Windows 11 installation and I’m in urgent need of assistance. (how I damaged it) I managed to recover an NVMe from an old laptop and installed it on my PC. After wiping the original drive, I cloned the Windows install using aOMEI Partition Assistant. The clone worked fine at first, but I have 11GB of unused space so I transferred it to the main partition. After adjusting the partition settings, the system froze and began to flicker on the desktop. I returned to my original drive, which brought me back into recovery mode. When I tried to repair it, it said it was performing an automated fix and estimated about an hour. Since it was late, I went to sleep. The next morning, about six hours later, it kept running the repair process, causing the screen to go blank on both drives. When I used a known good USB drive for the repair, the screen displayed a purple color instead of progressing.
It's surprising that your main drive is being placed into Recovery mode when you haven't interacted with it. Are the second recovered drive present as well? Turning off the original drive without any other drives should restore everything to normal.
I discovered a video demonstrating the process for fixing the BCD file, which resolved the issues I encountered during the conventional repair method. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wq0mrScd04o
