Hey there. I'm dealing with mouse stutter in games like Valorant—previously it didn't happen on my desktop. I wanted the video to clearly display this issue (the mouse moved smoothly but then stopped abruptly). At first, I assumed it was a mouse-related problem, so I changed from Logitech G403 to Razer Viper, but the problem persisted. I adjusted the polling rate settings and tried different resolutions and graphics settings, but nothing helped. I also tweaked my NVidia control panel and lowered the resolution, yet the issue remained. I switched the mousepad and used various surfaces, still experiencing this behavior. I'm unsure what's causing it. After reinstalling Windows and cleaning everything up, I even reinstalled Valorant without success. If anyone knows what might be wrong or has a solution, I'd really appreciate it. Here are my PC details: Motherboard (Intel H97), i5-4460 (3.2 GHz base, 3.4 GHz turbo, 6 MB cache, 84W), RAM (8 GB DDR3-1600 at 3200 MHz), Graphics (NVidia GeForce GTX 1060, 6 GB).

It's been occurring for several months now. Initially, I believed it was a Logitech G403 sensor issue, but after those months went by, I switched to a Razer Viper and the problem continued.

It's the challenge. I saw hiccups even with top frame rates. The system is still refining performance. Try the training zone where you engage all the bots, use Brimstone, and keep moving your mouse rapidly. You'll see frequent unexpected pauses. It's the game, not your skill.

I really wonder if the issue is with my specs. I've heard that High Priority can assist. Can anyone verify that? Also, with so much utility like sage ice and smokes, it's hard to move my mouse at all. On the flip side, I believe this happened in other games too, though I'm not sure because I haven't played anything else since Valorant launched in beta.

It's not your device. My settings are around 3700x and 1070, achieving 150-300fps but still experiencing stuttering.

No changes have been made yet. The issue still needs the developers to address.

I haven’t explored the issue deeply, and since I rarely play Valorant, I’ve never had the chance to try a solution.
