Have trouble with a dead laptop?
Have trouble with a dead laptop?
Hi everyone
How are you?
I need your help, guys.
This laptop is an old one, a gift from my father, and I want him to have a better life again.
When I start the laptop and it boots into Windows, I see a BSOD with the error code "Critical Process Died."
I tried reinstalling Windows, but the same problem appears.
The laptop was bought in 2014 (Hp Envy 17 j002tx).
Sorry for my bad English,
*Ty
You may want to check if the laptop's RAM can be replaced. Sometimes this fails. If that doesn’t work, consider replacing the storage drive with a new or functional one. Regarding your operating system, create a bootable USB using Windows Media Creation Tools for Windows 10. For laptop drivers, obtain them from the provided source. Ensure your BIOS is updated after installing all drivers. If your laptop lacks an SSD, it would be wise to install one and set up the OS on that drive.
