Have trouble resolving issues with motherboard diagnostic lights during boot, memory, and processor checks.
I just bought an Asus dual 6750 XT OC and faced a problem after setting it up. The system started up normally but only displayed half the RAM—meaning one stick wasn’t recognized—and the active RAM was running at 2133 MHz, which was lower than the 3600 MHz XMP speed before the GPU installation. The graphics card worked correctly. To resolve it, I replaced another pair of RAM sticks, but the issue continued. Eventually, I got a RAM module that supported XMP speeds (3200 MHz). Still, whenever I tried booting with both RAMs installed, the PC wouldn’t start. There was a "Boot light" LED on the motherboard. I changed the RAM slots one by one in hopes of getting a successful boot, but it kept failing with BSODs and the OS failing to load. After checking the BIOS, I switched XMP to Auto, which forced the system to run at default speeds. This caused all sorts of error codes—boot, boot plus CPU, CPU plus DRAM. Clearing CMOS didn’t help. Now my PC won’t power on at all, and every time it restarts, strange PSC lights appear. I have the specs: CPU Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G, GPU AMD Radeon 6750 XT (Asus Dual OC), new RAM G skill Ripjaws V 3200 C16 (8GB x2), old RAM G skill Sniper X 3600 C19 (8GB x2), storage includes a 250GB NVMe SSD and two 150GB HDDs, PSU is a Gigabyte P550b (550W bronze), and motherboard is Asrock B550m Pro 4. I’m out of money and losing patience—this is really scary. Also, the GPU was installed with EMI protection enabled. Help needed!
Unplug the hard drive from both the motherboard and power source. Retry the process.
