Hey, I see you've got a bunch of troubleshooting steps going on. Let's see what might be going on. Your specs look solid—your CPU is an i5 4690k, and you're using a good GPU setup. The BIOS flashing and CMOS issues are common when trying to overclock. Have you checked the BIOS settings for any power limits or voltage adjustments? Also, ensure your cooling system is functioning properly and that the CPU cooler isn't overheating under load. If you're still stuck after all these attempts, maybe a factory reset or consulting MSI support would help. Let me know what you find next!

Disconnect the external drives. Remove the power supply by pressing the button. Restore power and start the computer without the drives. This process is necessary because after a power outage, many BIOS systems switch back to standard boot settings from the initial one-time activation.

You accessed the System Information and saw BIOS Mode listed as UEFI or LEGACY, but it remained blank. This might indicate a display issue or a problem with the BIOS settings. Trying a different method or consulting your hardware manual could help clarify what’s happening.

The advanced settings section doesn't include a UEFI firmware configuration option.

And when you press shutdown /r /fw in cmd, it reports that the firmware UI can't be started.

I used to access my BIOS two months back, and prior to that, I hadn’t reinstalled Windows at all—everything remained unchanged. Now I’m unable to open the BIOS for some unknown reason.
