Twice daily, based on your progress, changes range from 2 to 20GB. You might want to save more often; a weekly 100GB backup could be simpler and cheaper. Upgrading isn’t always the best choice.

I perform backups every half hour to an hour, with each backup roughly 100gb in size (including the main operating system and applications)

Does your backup tool create a completely new copy or just update the last one and note the changes? With a 10GbE connection, are your storage devices sufficiently quick? Your biggest challenge in backing up data is still your old HDD.

Creates a completely fresh backup. Once it reaches 14 days, it removes old copies but retains one copy each month. I possess 20 terabytes of storage (Raid 10, four 10-terabyte drives).

It could be useful to explore alternative backup tools, as making identical copies of unchanged files on the same device doesn’t significantly enhance security and consumes a lot of storage.
