Hello everyone, I recently ran an AIDA64 stress test on the CPU with a 4.4ghz clock for 24 hours. The maximum temperature reached was 64°C. I was able to play games like CSGO and LOL all day without any issues, and the highest temperature never exceeded 42°C. However, when I tried FIFA 16 or NBA 2K16, my PC would freeze during memory and hard drive tests, but everything passed otherwise. After some research, I attempted to run a cache stress test, which failed in just 10 seconds. I’m unsure what’s causing the problem. Recently, I updated my BIOS and kept the clock at 4.4ghz, but now it fails at that setting.

My current specs are:
- CPU: i5-4670K clock @ 4.4ghz
- Motherboard: Asrock Extreme 4 Z87
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB clock @ 1600MHz
- Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series H75 Liquid
I’m considering switching my motherboard to an MSI Z97 soon, hoping that would help.

I resolved the issue, upgraded my motherboard to an MSI Z97 Gamer 5 and raised the cache voltage to 1.485. I'm hopeful it's running smoothly for the past six hours; the temperature is a bit lower too. I think MSI is more stable than ASRock. The thread can now be closed.
