Have issues with your FPS?
I'm using a GeForce 305012gb with 16GB RAM Ryzen 15006core A on a Rocket M450 motherboard. Most of my games freeze on the SSD, while the HDD handles backups for videos and music. No overclocking has been done. My monitors are a 4K Roku TV with a 60Hz refresh rate. I'm thinking about upgrading soon. For the 140Hz display, but I'm not sure if that will help. Are certain games like Modern Warfare 2, Bo3, Cold War, etc., affected? If I run them at high settings and get decent FPS, why isn't it stable at low game settings? What upgrades or changes could fix this issue? Updated November 4, 2022 by SirCreeperTon2014
Are you thinking about moving to a 4K144Hz monitor? A 3050 might not perform well in that setup. Your Ryzen 5 1500 could be the limiting factor when you're using low settings, while the 3050 is restricting performance at 4K. (Just a note, don't depend on me 100% of the time.)
Works well, yes. The HDMI/DP connections support 4K at 144Hz, but the main board isn’t powerful enough for current titles at that resolution and frame rate. Also, the 3050 model isn’t available—did you mean a 3060 or are you referring to something else?
