Hi, I'm checking if it's possible to link your CPU to an 8-pin connector using the provided image.

I really don’t understand. You provide power to the motherboard using the largest component it has, specifically a double 6-pin connector. Edited July 10, 2021 by RageTester

If your 8 pin configuration is 4+4, then yes—but proceed with caution because the pin layout on some motherboards might differ from standard designs. The best method is to test it with a multimeter to confirm. Also, ensure the original power supply is still functional before making any changes.

Sure, I also got a fresh PSU and a converter, but it looks like the computer won’t power on and keeps making noises.

I purchased an adapter for that, but the PC won't power on and keeps emitting a beep, yet it still receives signals from the motherboard.

Five short sounds, spaced about one to two seconds apart.

All five are short, but some may seem longer due to phrasing.

It seems like your computer isn’t starting, even after waiting a short time. You might want to check the power connection and ensure the device is properly plugged in.
