Hello, I have an older PC with an Intel i5 4690, an RX 570 4GB graphics card, and a 500W PSU from a friend three years ago. I bought the RX 570 for around $70 and the PSU at that time. I mainly played simple games like Sims, Hitman, Project Zomboid, and Crusader Kings 3 while streaming, but recently wanted to try Monster Hunter Rise. It restarts instantly when I launch it, and the same happens with Crusader Kings 3. The benchmark scores are affected too. I tried an OCCT PSU test but it crashed my system as well. Is the power supply unit or the graphics card causing this issue?
Have you checked the CPU and GPU temperatures first? It’s possible the thermal paste has dried out, causing overheating and shutdowns. Let me know if you need further details.
Confirmed, download hwinfo and enable CPU temperature logging. Review your data against ideal operating ranges, or share the findings for analysis.
I'll take a look after finishing my work. So far cinebench shows no issues, but problems appear when I launch certain games like Persona 5 Royal and Project Zomboid. I've already ordered thermal paste and pads and plan to replace them soon to test their effect.
Great decision overall. Most sudden shutdowns usually stem from power cuts or overheating, making it wise to run a thermal check on the PSU as suggested by @zambrano8512.

I don't know if there's something wrong or what, but the MB's part showing some temps above 100c
I also test the PSU using a multimeter; both the power cable and the 24-pin connector display standard values.
