Hi everyone, today I purchased a second RAM stick from the same brand with matching voltages, timings, and frequency. I installed it in the second slot, and the PC started working fine. However, when checking the CPU unit, only one was detected, and the BIOS also showed that. After turning off the PC and connecting just the new stick, it didn’t boot, and the board reported a DRAM issue. I tried another slot, but the same problem persisted. When I swapped the slots with both sticks connected, it finally booted after some time. Still, only one stick was recognized. Could it be that the second stick is damaged?

The update via Asus online service might be secure, but confirm the latest guidelines from the manufacturer before proceeding.

It finally functioned. I kept changing slots until the new one was stable. Once it booted, I switched RAM to auto mode, connected the old one to its original slot, and it worked.
