I encountered an unusual problem that began recently. While cleaning the water cooling loop, I filled the loop and during the power cycle the PC stopped turning on. I heard the relay click in the PSU when I pressed the power button, but the board remained lit yet nothing powered up. Initially, I wondered if the board might have suddenly failed, but when the PSU activated, I didn’t notice any drives spinning or fans running. Is it typical for power supplies to have fuses, or are there just a few trace fuses? The PSU model is an EVGA Supernova 1000P2.

The PSU failed due to a complete meltdown. After inspecting, I discovered it was fully damaged.
