Has your motherboard stopped working correctly?
I recently purchased some parts and assembled a new PC. After installing the graphics card, I accidentally scratched it. I’m experiencing audio issues where one headset sounds about 10% to 20% louder than the other. When pausing a video, a faint cracking noise occurs—soft enough not to be intrusive but noticeable. The main concern is whether this indicates damage to the motherboard or if the issue stems from faulty components. I’ve checked for scratches on circuits and found none. My headphones also didn’t cause the problem; I tested different types and connected them in various ports without issues. The drivers haven’t helped either. I’m unsure if the scratch damaged anything or if the hardware itself is faulty. I’ll share some photos later: https://imgur.com/a/6EOQxrM. My build includes a Gigabyte Aorus B550 Pro AC, AMD Ryzen 7 3800X, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 3200Mhz, dual-channel, MSI 3060 Ti, Zalman ARX 750W, and it runs on 80+ Platinum.
