Hello, I’m looking for advice about your motherboard issue. You mentioned a bent pin on the Gigabyte GA-H87N-WiFi (rev. 1.1) you found on Craigslist. After bending the pins back with a dental pick under a magnifying glass, the system stopped working properly—CPU and fans cycling together intermittently. You’ve tested RAM in each slot and used a known good CPU, PSU, and monitor, but nothing else is connected. One pin was bent over another, which might explain the contact problem. Could be worth checking that connection before giving up. Thanks ahead!

I attempted to check if I could adjust the pins, since there’s nothing to risk. Every pin must connect properly with all others, including the designated one. Having two crossed pins would likely cause failure.
