I would like to know if this is an OC issue, a rig issue or a game issue
My rig:
i3-4170
2x4gb corsair vengeance 1600 mhz
Gigabyte 1060 6gb
I have oc-ed my gigabyte to
+212 mhz GPU Clock (2113 boost)
+992 mhz Mem clock (9000 boost)
My issue is that when I start fortnite with OC settings, the lobby is okay, the lobby before the bus is okay, but the game freezes a few seconds into the 10 second timer
Everything is okay when I don't OC or when in +150 Core and +992 Mem
I have no issues with the 2113 and 9000 boost clocks on
CSGO
LoL
PubG
Dota 2

Did you play the game without overclocking? Have you monitored the temperatures? I suggest doing a stability check using OCCT or similar tools.

Various games react uniquely to overclocking. The effect depends on both factors.

Did you play the game without overclocking? Did you monitor the temperatures? It would be wise to run a stability check using OCCT or similar.
Without OC, the game functions properly.
No issues with Unigine when using the OC settings.

The temperatures are okay? Have you experimented with a reduced OC level?

And the temperatures are okay? Have you experimented with a reduced OC level?
Temperatures are fine, the game is performing well at a standard OC (1887 GPU), but I’m puzzled as to why it works smoothly on other titles except Fortnite.
