I've started planning a gradual upgrade of my system, which began with installing a 1660TI. Now I'm thinking about moving to a CPU with a 1800x or 3600x socket. I used PCpartpicker to verify compatibility and checked the build details you shared. Please review the linked build and let me know if it requires only a BIOS update or if a new motherboard is needed. Thank you!

You'll need to update your BIOS to the latest version, preferably one that supports Ryzen 3600X, and everything should work fine.

It depends on the update process—sometimes it pulls the latest version automatically, while other times you might have to get a particular file for that update.
