Hi! It sounds like your Wi-Fi connection got interrupted while you were playing Minecraft. The fact that your settings don’t show any adapter might mean the device isn’t detecting it properly or there’s an issue with the network. Check the router, ensure it’s powered on, and try reconnecting from your laptop.

It's funny how we think about tech fixes. Have you considered restarting the device? If that doesn't help, remember that many laptops include a hardware radio toggle—maybe you accidentally activated airplane mode or turned off Wi-Fi by mistake.

Attempted the process but found no tangible controls for Wi-Fi or airplane mode, and the device operates extremely sluggishly.

No changes were made recently; the issue might stem from an earlier update.

I have autoupdate disabled, which causes it to run more slowly

Here are some alternative suggestions you might consider. The original list doesn’t quite fit your needs. You also mentioned a specific link and noticed similarities with another device, especially the F3 key. It seems the information could help if double-checked.

Occasionally I encounter problems with my laptop where Windows seems to hide all detected Wi-Fi connections.
