Has the system used outdated or faulty hardware?
So im pretty dumb when it comes to stuff so i dont know jack so be patient with me i have a R5 3600 on a rog strix b450-f with 16 gb ram and a xfx rx 570 8gb and having issues playing space engineers on medium wont even load world just crashes as soon as i load and is meh on low where is my hardware failing me i dont know what part i need to change
You're wondering if the issue lies with your hardware or if the game has changed recently. Your setup seems capable, so it's probably not a problem with your old i7 875k. What resolution are you using? Are your drivers current? Did you try to boost the CPU, GPU, or RAM speed?
I ran the auto-overclock on the graphics and it reached 1286 MHz. Since I'm new to this, I'm not sure if everything was done correctly. I installed the Radeon Adrenaline service and followed the auto-update instructions, but for the CPU I used the ASUS Grid app to manage drivers.
Reset all changes and attempt again using stock configurations.
Often when "something crashes right away after loading," it points to a video driver issue. On AMD systems, users usually skip setting the chipset driver, which can lead to performance problems.
Should I exchange the RX 570 for a newer model? I spent around $149 and noticed something missing—a heat pipe, a gap in the main block, and a matching hole on the heat sink. If I find something similar, my budget would be about $300.
What is viewed as more favorable is receiving the refund and using it to cover your upcoming paycheck.
