I was using my laptop and suddenly a dark streak appeared on the left side. It happened without any force or drop, just appeared unexpectedly. I’m sure it’s not dead pixels since I can still see something there, the screen just looks darker in that spot.

It's just a dead LED, so few people will try to fix it. You should consider swapping out the panel.
