Hey everyone. I bought a 32GB RAM kit aiming for 3200 MHz, but my BIOS lists it differently—CPU-Z and Task Manager show 1600 MHz. Some forums say it’s just a minor discrepancy, but I want to verify. Anyone have any insights or fixes?
Strictly speaking, it's not 3200MHz, but 3200MT/s (megatransfers per second). The real operating frequency is 1600MHz, yet it transmits data twice each cycle, resulting in a doubled transfer speed. This was the result when moving from SDR memory to DDR memory.
