The BIOS configuration that keeps RAM operating at its rated frequency (like 2933MHz) is likely set correctly. However, RAM may not display errors during testing, while the CPU memory controller could still face challenges. To verify this, use a different type of RAM, such as Samsung B-die.
Occasionally these problems arise when cores increase speed after being idle. I believe the issue lies with the processor itself. Try lowering all core operating voltages to safe levels (around 1.2V or less) and observe if the problem persists. It won’t cause overheating, just maintain the clock you’ve set. Avoid overly high clocks at that voltage, or you’ll face another BSOD.
yup, extremely picky, im always surprised people don't know this after all those years and buy "corsair ram" which on average is probably the worst, and nowadays ddr4 is cheap there's no reason not get b-dies imo, even Samsung OEM (can be overclocked through hell and back lol) nah, its the ram... I had 3 Ryzen system and its always the ram... not with my last one cause i already had b-dies then, zero issues.
Ironically, it flips on AM5... B-die is the worst, you really want Hynix. I spent hours trying to get 6000mhz cl34 to function in my old 7800X3D. Now I have a Hynix A-die and I just plugged in 6000mhz cl28—it worked fine without changing the base expo voltages.
Visit C:\Windows\Minidump to see if any minidump files exist. If present, return to the Windows directory and transfer the Minidump folder to the Downloads folder (use your desktop if needed). Compress the copied folder and include it in a post. Please adhere strictly to instructions since Windows doesn't allow file manipulation there.
