Has anyone tried Rosewell accessories?
I’m seeking a new white gaming keyboard and mouse to substitute my current Logitech peripherals and EVGA equipment. I’m particularly concerned about the software required by Logitech, which significantly slows down my computer startup—it now takes around three minutes instead of the previous fifteen seconds. I’ve discovered a keyboard and mouse set from Rosewell that fulfills my needs, but I’m hesitant due to its remarkably low price and mixed customer feedback. I'd like to know if anyone has experience with Rosewill products and can assess the quality of their offerings.
Here’s a breakdown of my component list:
Keyboard:
Rosewill - NEON K51W Wired Gaming Keyboard ($34.99 @ Amazon)
Mouse:
Rosewill - ION D21 Wired Optical Mouse ($9.99 @ Amazon)
Total:
$44.98 (This price includes shipping, taxes, and any applicable discounts.)

For some time, I've been utilizing the Rosewill Neon K85 keyboard. I’m uncertain about mice, however, the keyboard itself is dependable. Previously, I experienced a keyboard that was entirely substandard – it was essentially useless. It’s important to ensure your keyboard has a permanently attached cable connecting it directly to your computer; the USB port on my old one failed after only six months. Amazon offers a return procedure, perhaps you could investigate whether a nearby store provides similar options, allowing you to evaluate the tactile sensation firsthand before awaiting delivery from Amazon.

I couldn't find a local retailer, and Rosewill’s website indicates they only sell online. However, they list Amazon and Newegg as authorized vendors. The keyboard also comes with a one-year warranty, which is satisfactory. I’m unclear about your reference to a permanent cable; this keyboard has a braided cord that is not detachable, connected by a USB port.
Without firsthand knowledge, WC, but I suspect there was a reference indicating that the original manufacturer for the K51 is identical to one used by CoolerMaster’s lower-priced “mechanical” keyboards. I haven't been able to locate a verification of this information. Considering the lowest price I’ve discovered for a mechanical CoolerMaster keyboard is approximately $80, I would likely be hesitant about the keyboard at $35. CoolerMaster generally maintains higher profit margins than Rosewill, though even with that, I anticipate varying user experiences and a degree of chance is required to secure a durable unit – which seems to align with the feedback presented in the reviews.
