It looks like they’re including the NVIDIA drivers automatically, which is helpful. If your system is already set up and you just want an operating system, I’d recommend giving it a try.

Understand that it’s built to operate like a standalone console, excluding any other operating systems, and that it clears the storage before setup.

You can purchase a used hard disk on ebay for cheap, I don't see the issue. Maybe POP_os! would be more your style so you could partition storage as desired. https://system76.com/pop
