I came across some old news while browsing online, though it’s quite a while ago. Someone managed to reverse engineer the Ragnarok Online client and rebuild it using HTML5. The game runs smoothly now, but certain elements like guilds and the quest panel are still missing. The site recommends creating your own client, optionally turning it into a Chrome extension for users who don’t want constant data transfers, and setting up a server—though you might need to run an Athena or eAthena server to make it work.
