Hi, I just sold my ASRock B450 Steel Legend to someone online. When they got it, they reported issues, but it turned out the board only supports Ryzen 5 3200G, not 2600X. (Note: The problem wasn’t from the GPU since both CPUs were identical.) Have you ever encountered a motherboard that’s only compatible with a specific Ryzen generation?
Each BIOS release for that motherboard includes support for the 2600X, which might indicate the CPU is no longer functional. ADDITIONAL NOTE: The RAM modules purchased by the buyer affect compatibility—verify they’re listed on the QVL. Also, consider connecting a 2-pin speaker to the motherboard to see if any POST codes play during startup.
