Typically I see around 80°C during gameplay. For reference, my Control session hit 74°C. I'm currently using a 14700K build with a Thermalright Phantom Spirit and 4060 Ti 16GB RAM. Helldivers runs at 1440p with ultra quality, but I keep settings capped around 60, while Control is at full native with DLSS enabled near 80. I checked the Helldivers subreddit recently and noticed others mention the PC port isn't fully optimized, which can lead to higher temps and reduced performance. My new build is only a week old, so I'm still getting a feel for temperatures, but those two games are my current focus.

Custom water cooling is typically built specifically for your CPU, while air cooling seems quite inadequate for such performance.
