Hello everyone!
I don’t have much experience with builds or matching components for a motherboard, so I’m reaching out for advice.
My main game is Fortnite, and my FPS stays around 144hz thanks to my monitor. Everything is configured low with a stretched resolution. Despite that, I still experience big drops in FPS during combat, so here are my details to help you identify what might need replacing for better performance and maintaining the 144 fps level.
Processor: i5-4440 3.10GHz
GPU: ZOTAC GTX 1050ti 4GB OC Edition
MOBO: Gigabyte B85-HD3
Power supply: 500 watts
RAM: 8 gigs of DDR3 1600MHz

I believe it is the 4440. Have there been any reports of its usage?

Fighting is typically the most challenging aspect of shooting games to display. Both your GPU and CPU may face difficulties achieving higher frame rates, as the CPU's performance and the GPU's capabilities limit their efficiency.

The CPU's performance is consistently near 90%. Playing Fortnite at 80-70% usage most of the time doesn't seem significant since it rarely causes crashes or freezes. What kind of CPU would complement your GPU best?

It depends on your budget and whether you prefer used or new. And I think you're looking to upgrade the GPU in a few years?

I'm considering a great fit that won't strain your GPU and won't limit its performance. Your budget isn't a big concern, so I believe you can find something suitable from the market. What do you think?

Is the implementation of your GPU really that effective, especially when running at very low settings and resolutions?

What resolution are you using? I think it's likely 1080p. Anyway, the problem seems to be with your GPU. Your CPU works well with your GPU, but the resolution is the issue.

I completely understand, but it can become quite challenging in certain situations, honestly. So yes, getting another GPU and CPU might be a good idea, even if you're using very low settings or resolutions.

I operate at a high resolution of 1080x1080 and all settings are configured for low output.
