Reviewing the damaged boards again, I spotted a reasonably priced H61. It looks a bit dusty but there’s no damage at all—completely fine. The person mentioned the PC was left unused for a week, and when he returned, he didn’t want to post anymore. My main concerns are environmental factors (perhaps rain) or a spill incident. A week is a short period, so I’m quite suspicious about what might have happened, especially if it was closer to half a year or more—then dust would likely be the issue.
