Hello,
my issue is that I consistently see a low FPS around 120-130 on 4:3 at 1920x1440. Compared to my setup, the performance seems very poor, but I’m not sure why.
My hardware includes:
i7-7600
EVGA RTX 2070 (standard)
16GB GSKILL Trident Z RGB
Asus ROG STRIX Z270E

When playing CS GO, my CPU usage is about 34% and GPU around 31%.
I’ve tried several things already:
- Disabling Xbox DVR
- Resetting BIOS settings (which often overclock)
- Reinstalling graphics drivers
- Unparking cores
- Changing resolution (FPS remains unchanged)
- Turning Vsync off in CS GO and Nvidia settings

Could someone suggest a solution?
Thanks.

navigate to game settings, turn on developer console, and input fps_max 0 into the console. Doing this in the main menu also works for fps_max_menu 0

Ensure fullscreen windowed is enabled. I've encountered problems with fullscreen earlier.

It was proposed to give it a try, not whether to use it.

Is the GPU in power-saving mode? Verify the clocks.
