You're experiencing an issue where the hard drive wasn't detected during Windows installation, and you're wondering if you can clear all events on your drive using the installer. Yes, you can try resetting the drive information through the Windows setup tools or by using a disk management utility.

This doesn't imply the occurrence was irrelevant. You're taking it for granted. Let's examine the actual situation. It could be that it's just a trivial matter, or it might hold significance. Try to understand what transpired rather than dismissing it outright. Unless you're certain this was already addressed and you recognize it as a false warning.

This wasn't a fake alert; I'm attempting to set up Windows on my new computer. It fails to install on the hard drive, but a few days prior it functioned smoothly and was downloading until it halted mid-process and turned off.

The term refers to both mechanical HDDs and SSDs. You can specify which type you're using and let me know what you'd like to store there.
