The issue was resolved after letting the system run for a day. Some copying issues remained but important files were saved. The external drive with BitLocker remains unusable. I no longer plan to use it. The drive still shows encryption even after removal, and unlocking causes decryption failure around 70%. Error messages appear when accessing certain files. I can see some data but opening anything freezes the computer until the drive is unplugged. There seems to be no solution yet. Thanks for your help!
