Handling the Ram issue
Handling the Ram issue
I recently purchased the RTX 2060 and after just five days my Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM was damaged. I replaced it with a new Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR4 3000MHz model, but within 18 days the same issue occurred again—my PC would power on for ten seconds before restarting automatically, just like before. My current setup includes an i5-6402P CPU, a GTX 2060 Mobo H110m, and 8GB DDR4 RAM from Corsair vs a 650W PSU. Could there be a problem with the power supply, the GPU, or is this simply bad luck?
Are you referring to the classic orange label on the VS650 model? What led you to suspect a RAM issue?
It was the corsair versus 650 80+ white. Earlier, swapping the RAM fixed the issue, so I assumed my RAM failed.
I checked the symptoms and listened to the user’s description to confirm the issue.
They mentioned seeing visible cracks and discoloration, which helped identify the problem.
They also quoted the user: “The RAM looks damaged.”
This confirms the verification process.
I recently verified another RAM module in my setup and everything worked fine. Then I replaced it, but after 19 days I'm still facing the same issue—PC boots but restarts frequently. Is this amount of power from my PSU sufficient for this configuration?
Still doesn't guarantee that the ram is the problem Enough wattage but the quality is not great. Could be a problem with your motherboard
