I own it but haven’t begun the game yet. Most people have praised it positively too. I plan to wrap up L.A. Noire soon. Sure, it runs at 30 frames per second, but it’s still a solid experience.

I'm a dedicated Metal Gear enthusiast who plays each title multiple times. This game came out just four days after my birthday three years ago. I've been tracking the release date, having graduated high school and started university in anticipation. I was hoping for something close to MGS3, not the best but solid, without any major compromises, and to wrap up the main storyline. The game offered solid gameplay, a decent half of the narrative, and reused assets effectively. It adds little new to the MGS saga, making MGR feel more like a Metal Gear experience. It's not terrible, but it ranks as the second-worst entry in the series.

I'v only played a 13 hours in total, but I'm loving it. There isn't any game that is like it. Graphics are quite good, although a bit dull sometimes as it is in Afghanistan (Not sure if it changes later) . Love the 'motherbase' upgrading etc, to help you in combat.

It's the small details that really enhance the experience. Placing C4 near soldiers, using a diarrhea clip while in the toilet so guards stay out, wearing gas masks when guards try to follow you, helmets for tracking, bulletproof vests for heavy shooting, night vision goggles for night missions, and getting hit with water after not showering—those moments add up. The return to base after missing a shower is tough, but the bucket of water thrown at you makes it even more intense. It can get tough, but I’m okay with the part where you have to extract something called the scientist. I don’t have to be a dedicated MGS fan, but I enjoyed both MGS 3 and Ground Zeros. Personally, I think MGS:V is the best, just my take.

The most recent MGS I experienced was on the PS1. The main story feels fairly dull, though I can't say for sure if it's an authentic MGS or not. I just enjoy playing due to the gameplay.

MGS canon stands out as an engaging experience in gaming, yet it intentionally sidesteps major story moments during its timeline.

It's the top game I've ever enjoyed, with its own unique style.

They're a close match, aren't they? Both have great appeal.
