That sounds like a message sent through email. It involves sending information to someone via digital mail.

Outlook functions more like a database system than a typical email client. It appears to handle emails, but internally it operates as a relational database.

Windows Phone offers options to save your contacts, though I haven’t tested it yet. I’m new to Android and don’t have much background.

The program you're thinking of is likely Windows Live Mail, which was later renamed to Outlook.com. It was a web-based email service offered by Microsoft.

Windows Live Mail has a restriction on the number of contacts, which is quite low. I’m searching for an alternative that offers more flexibility or no such cap.

I never realized outlook had this feature. I understand it can generate a file that most databases and contact managers can open easily. iOS support came about after the funding situation changed with Steve Jobs returning to Apple.
