I recently cleaned my pc with canned air and a damp cloth to clean the case. Then I let my pc sit because I was getting a new desk. When I turned on my pc today half of my games couldn't be opened. Windows says the file could not be located. So at first I tried to see if I needed to sign into steam but some of my steam games I could open and I couldn't open steam. I don't think there is a problem with my drive because I still have some games. How can I get these games back without re installing?

Was Wasser aus dem Tuch in die Laufwerke gelangt? Hast du eine Windows-Updates-Oberfläche? (vielleicht hast du sie über Nacht geändert)

There was no water coming from the cloth. My computer stayed plugged in and on the floor until now. It's strange that I mentioned my drive isn't showing up in File Explorer, yet I can still run Apex or Rainbow, which were downloaded to that drive.

Have you attempted a disk scan to check for corruption?

If it doesn't appear as a drive in My PC under Windows, it means the system isn't recognizing the device, which explains why your games aren't loading. It's possible the active games are stored on an SSD instead. Try powering off the PC and inspecting the connections to the HDD and motherboard to verify they're securely connected. You might have unintentionally disconnected the cable during maintenance.
