Guys, after downloading Portal 2 from Steam, you're facing a crash when launching it. Here are some possible fixes you can try:
- Update your Steam client and game to the latest version.
- Disable add-ons or mods temporarily.
- Run the game in a different browser or use a clean Steam installation.
- Check for system requirements and ensure your PC meets them.
- Reinstall the game or try a different version.
Let me know if you need more details!

In your library, right-click the game, select properties, then go to local files and check the integrity of the game cache.

It seems like the issue might be related to DirectX or a driver problem. Checking your hardware and confirming you have the newest or beta drivers could help resolve it.
