Your Lenovo Essential G500 supports Hackintosh setups. You can run Intel HD Graphics with the right drivers and software. Make sure to use compatible BIOS updates and consider using a USB 3.0 adapter for better performance. Follow official Hackintosh guides for your specific model.

You can, but it's quite challenging, and in truth, it doesn't seem worthwhile.

Consider trying Elementary OS, a Linux platform that closely resembles Mac OS X in appearance but is entirely open-source. It offers full freedom to modify the software or settings, ensuring no hidden spyware and eliminating payment requirements. It works well across a wide range of devices.

I've used the desktop version on a hackintosh before. It seems the chip might work with Mojave, though I haven't tested it anymore. I'm seeing good results on my ThinkPad T430 with Mojave.

I don't believe that much. Highly specific laptops could work, but don't waste your time on it.

It's uncertain if it will succeed, and even with a lucky twist it remains quite challenging. Setting up Hackintoshes isn't just about connecting a USB stick and finishing the setup quickly.
