Hi there, I'm trying to set up a Hackintosh notebook using my old Asus R505CB specs: an i7 3537U CPU running between 2.0 and 2.5GHz, 6GB RAM, a Nvidia 740M chip, and a 128GB SSD. I don’t have UEFI BIOS installed. I’ve used the tonymacx86.com manuals to try and configure it, but once I plug in the USB stick it doesn’t show up in my BIOS. I think this is because of the lack of UEFI support. I’m not a total beginner, so I’m hoping you can guide me through this. I also noticed that the Nvidia drivers don’t appear during setup, and I can’t see them in the USB configuration. Do I need to do anything extra? Is there a specific step I should follow? Thanks for your help!

No prior reports exist about a case where a person's computer was permanently damaged through Hackintosh techniques.

drawing from others' stories, try modded Linux if needed. For macOS users, check the link provided.
