Hello, I'm trying to set up Hackintosh on my MacBook. I've created an EFI folder and connected it to my desktop, but it doesn't boot anything. I've changed the BIOS settings to boot from it and made the necessary updates. I also used Clover, but it didn't detect anything—only Windows or other bootable macOS. I'm not a gamer, just a programmer, so it would be easier for me to work on it. Any suggestions on how to proceed? Thanks.

Verify the media is ready. A simple folder copy won't usually work.

Properly burn it to start UEFI mode. Use disk utility and choose GPT for the format.

Hmm, let's clarify. What do you mean by that?

I used a bootable USB drive to get it running on the PC.

video0.mov (listen to the audio) Also, another problem with my HDD began producing these sounds after the installation. Any suggestions? The HDD was purchased on December 23, 2018. It started around the installation, as I mentioned. Model: Seagate Barracuda 1TB. It was labeled 'Clover' and 'Clover Configurator.' I followed several YouTube tutorials. MacOS Extended (Journalist) format? Would appreciate help from Discord if possible. thanks, lakoSK#1641

Follow the instructions in the video closely. Generally, the GPT is what helps identify the USB device.

The BIOS recognizes the USB but Windows still boots automatically. You have an installer in both the USB and EFI directories. What should you do?
