It's likely acceptable, though the 2070 super stands out significantly. Upgrading to a 6-core CPU, like a 2600, would probably work well—it can handle 4K at 60fps without needing ray tracing.

Avoid playing at 4K, it's really bad quality, and you'll need better hardware to handle it smoothly.

I should mention the caveat about low/medium settings for 4K. 2070 Super is actually a 1440p card, not a true 4K one. Just compare similar options—people are seeing 60+ with lower resolutions like 1080p or 1440p, but not 4K.

It depends on what you're aiming for. Upgrading might be better if you need more performance, while overclocking or a cooler could help with current tasks. Consider your goals and budget first.

They're not testing it at 4K resolution, that makes sense.

The quad-core i5 struggles a lot in Assassin's Creed and Odyssey, often consuming too many CPU resources.

Consider updating and using a better monitor. 1080p or 1440p would be ideal.

I'm gaming at 1440p because 4k isn't in reach but the strange thing is I don't see any difference between 1080 and 1440 performance wise

Upgrading the CPU could be the ideal choice next.
