Hey there! I'm just starting out with this setup and wanted a bit more performance for my old HP H8-1414. It comes with 10GB, but I've got 64-bit Windows 10 and an M3970AM-HP motherboard. I've bought 32GB of DDR3L-1600 RAM (cl11, 1.35V) from Crucial. From what I understand, the RAM should work fine since it shows up in system info, but it doesn't actually use it. This means my old RAM is just sitting there unused. The BIOS keeps warning me about a problem and says I can't change anything. I've looked up online fixes like MSConfig, but nothing seems to help. I'm a bit confused and feel a little lost. Maybe using CPU-Z helped identify the issue? Hopefully, this will resolve it!
