These h310 mobos are suitable for gaming. I plan to pair them with an i5 processor and an RX 570 graphics card, along with 8GB of RAM. I’ll stick to a tight budget by using an 80plus white power supply and a compact PSU. There’s a TUF gaming board that includes the h310, and another model with the B360 at a similar price.

The motherboard shouldn’t significantly limit performance unless it’s extremely poor. The required updates can vary by model, so a BIOS upgrade might be needed for the H310. Have you purchased both the CPU and motherboard already? AMD provides far superior options.

H310 boards are budget-friendly options, often lacking much quality and performance. They're typically used for basic applications where cost is a priority over durability or functionality.

If prices match, opt for the B360—offers four memory slots for future upgrades and generally better build quality with improved I/O and fan headers. Do you already have an i5? For budget-conscious buyers, a Ryzen 5+B450 often delivers comparable or superior performance at a lower cost.
