Guys help! Question above
This might be the issue—high temperatures can reduce the lifespan of capacitors. I suspect some of them failed. It would be better to take the GPU to a service center so they can identify which capacitor is dead and replace it. If it's a capacitor-related problem, it should be resolved. Fixing it now could save you money later. If you bought the GPU used, the overheating might be due to old thermal paste. Changing it earlier might have prevented this, but it's already too late. Just bring it in if you can and hope for a fix.
The issue with your Asus RX580 OCC 8GB might not be related to the GPU itself. The problem could stem from other factors such as drivers, system configuration, or hardware compatibility. Checking for updates and ensuring proper installation of drivers may help resolve the issue.
I added another GPU (it's not great) but it's functioning. Please let me know your PC details: PSU cooler master 600W, motherboard Asus TUF Gaming A520M plus, CPU Ryzen 5 3500X, GPU Asus RX 580 8GB OC, SSD Kingston A400 480GB (uncertain), no HDD, RAM Kingston 16GB.
It could be due to excessive heat, haven't you observed any unusual sounds in your computer lately?
