Hey guys, as i'm currently building my rig i'm looking at some of the first games i will get. i just want to know how good gw2 is, i'm coming from ps4 and loved final fantasy 14 a realm reborn. i hear there's no monthly fee for gw2, so does this effect the amount of content added to the game?

I wasn’t really into PvP in FF14, I probably wouldn’t care much for it. I tend to enjoy how players support one another. So would GW2 be considered more PvP focused?

They regularly update the game with new content, and it's available completely free. The experience is enjoyable, but it hasn't kept my attention lately. I think adding a small fee would help fund more development and let them expand the game further.

It seems the product is struggling, based on the feedback you've noticed. However, it doesn't sound like it's doing very well.

It's all about PVP. If you prefer PVE, look for another MMORPG. I'm a dedicated Runescape player who's been a fan since the beginning.

Stick to FF14 if you want a great end game pve experience. The raids are really really good and I doubt you have completed them all as the latest ones are really difficult.

I believe this game is excellent and hope more titles adopt its payment system. The server versus server PvP and organized PvP seem to be the main draws. The lore and fractal designs in the mists dungeons are solid, though it isn't a traditional raid-focused MMORPG.

I regularly engage with Guild Wars 2, but the constant PvE material makes it hard to complete everything in one day. Many more folks enjoy PvE over PvP, and each time I enter WvW it feels empty. The game is completely focused on PvE. Even when watching Angry Joe's review, it's clear how much of the experience is missing.

You're considering a few options: Guild Wars 2, World of Warcraft, and a potential pre-order. It sounds like you're weighing your choices carefully with budget in mind.
