When I'm in places like Lion's Arch or crowded areas with many players, my game slows down to about 30 frames per second. Even though I play at 3840x2160 resolution, my system runs on a 1080Ti with a Ryzen 1700 at 3.75 GHz and 16GB RAM. In the task manager, only the RAM usage goes above 55%, except for Chrome tabs that use up to 75%. The CPU and GPU sometimes stay around 35% in these situations. Can I find a better way to make my PC use its resources more efficiently?

The GW2 engine is quite outdated. Similar to many MMOs, FPS will drop significantly with too many players nearby. It performs best with solid single-thread speed.

Navigate to the settings and adjust the number so fewer individuals display.
