Guide to Europa Universalis 4 LF Stay updated with the latest strategies and tips for mastering the game.
Are there any players who enjoy Europa Universalis 4 and understand its mechanics well? I’m planning to revisit the game after a year, during which many updates and expansions occurred. The latest update 1.12 significantly altered France and Burgundy. I’d like to begin with England and aim to secure victory in the 100-year war against France. Although I thought it would be straightforward in 1.12, I’m seeking guidance from someone experienced with EU4 or this patch. Any tips, strategies, or recommended guides for playing as England would be greatly appreciated!
I haven't played for England in quite some time, but what I can say is this:
1. Dominate the seas by establishing a full blockade around France.
2. Deploy as many units as possible. The only concern would be the War of the Roses—if it arises during the conflict, focus on maintaining peace and managing the situation.
Feel free to ask if you have more questions!
Yeah, I just went through the War of the Roses. I’m not at war with France yet and I’m still figuring out my priorities. My allies are Portugal, Castile, Aragon, and Austria, which makes England a strong player around 1460. I’m roughly in that time frame. Should I focus on Scotland/Ireland or go after France? I’m not sure. Also, what strategies or ideas would be best for me? Thanks!
